Chartcheck Tachograph Services specialise in analysis of tachographs and production of reports required by the modern transport and haulage company, for all types of tachograph analysis, including latest digital records as well as paper charts. We have vast experience and expertise and pride ourselves on offering the ultimate in tachograph analysis and put the customer first, with the service required to match your needs. We support the road haulage industry with all aspects of tachograph analysis, from small owner driver, to the larger fleet market. Based in the South West of England our customers are in all the corners of the British Isles, we offer a flexible service to to transport managers, small, medium and large fleets who require the latest reporting on all common driving rules, infringements and Working Time Directive legislation.

Tradition "Paper" type charts

Analysis begins with simply posting the charts to us although we can accept scanned images where you use your own scanner. When analysis is complete (usually within the week) the charts, printed reports and driver letters are returned by first class post, recorded delivery for your peace of mind. Alternatively the reports can be accessed directly by you, saving postage time and storage of paper copies.

Digital Data Files

Simply supply your data from the drivers' cards or vehicle units to us either by e-mail directly to us or we can give you access to your data on the web where you can have instantaneous analysis. The results can be accessed immediately or a hard copy can be supplied for your records. It is up to you. Should you have a mixture of digital and paper chart media

We can deal with both types of records and merge the results to help make the transition to digital as painless as possible. Obviously there is a time delay on merging the two technologies because of the 28 days retention rule but this can be shortened by scanning the charts and sending the copy to us electronically. We operate a Siemans on-line programme capable of supporting both analogue and digital instruments. This also has the option of keeping WTD records and the archiving of vehicle and driver data and is acceptable to the enforcement agencies as one of their preferred systems.

Analyse your digital Driver Card records

Solution 1 - No purchase of special equipment required.

Ideal for 3 drivers or less. if you are within 10 miles of our office, we will visit you every 3 weeks to download data from Driver Cards, return to our office, analyse the data for compliance, produce the reports and either post or e-mail them to you for a more immediate service or alternatively we can bring them back at our next visit. Total yearly cost £525 for 17 visits.

Solution 2 – which could be because you do not have a computer capability but is available for any number of drivers.

Similar to solution 1 except that you downloaded Driver Card data every 3 weeks maximum to a memory stick or put it on your PC. Then we will visit every three week to copy the data files from your memory stick (or PC) and produce the reports and return them at our next visit. This may require an up-front charge. Alternatively you would be able to access the analysis if you have a web capability.

Solution 3 – For a fleet of any size located anywhere

Download Driver Card data every 2 weeks direct to our website. The data can be accessed directly and driver’s hours assessed for legalities. There is no charge for accessing the reports and you can print off whatever you require.

Included with all 3 solutions

  • We will archive raw digital data files and keep them secure for you for 12 months.
  • Longer is possible at modest charge.
  • We will archive analogue tachograph chart data and keep for 12 months for you. Again longer is possible at modest cost especially if you are using the data Working Time Directive purposes.
  • Cost of archiving data for first 12 months – Included in charges.

In the absence of Driver Card

  • Analyse Vehicle Unit print out.
  • Merge analogue tachograph chart and digital data together and produce one set of reports.
  • Produce your working time reports
  • Archive analogue tachograph chart analysis data and retain securely for 12 months.
  • Archive raw digital tachograph data file from Driver Cards and retain securely for 12 months minimum.
  • Archive raw digital tachograph data files from Vehicle Unit and retain securely for 12 months minimum.
  • If you already have a means of downloading data from the Driver Card and Vehicle Unit and you require analysis and archiving only – we can do that for you.

The price you pay includes all setup costs. There are no up-front, joining or subscription fees, or costs.

Working Time Directive Report and the archiving of driver card digital data and analogue tachograph chart data can also be included.
